What is the IPC Student
Board |

The IPC Student Board is
comprised of two students from each high school in Irvine
who who are committed to supporting the prevention efforts
of our community partners.
In 2006/2007, the IPC
Student Board will work on several social marketing
campaigns including:
- Video campaign
depicting what students in Irvine are doing to make a
difference in their community and beyond.
- Print and video
campaign to promote the fact that most students make
healthy choices most of the time.
- One other print or
media campaign on a specific prevention related topic to
be identified by the IPC Student Board (examples include
topics like underage drinking, suicide, traffic safety,
teen dating violence, etc.)
IPC Student Board members
will participate in other activities, such as:
- IPC Agency Interviews:
These interviews will provide opportunities for IPC
Student Board members to get to know our agency partners
and learn about the services they provide.
- Other activities to be
determined by the IPC Student Board.

prevention?
If you are, then
apply now to serve on the 2006/2007 IPC Student
Board
- Get involved
in our community prevention efforts
- Get to know
the IPC agency partners
- Earn community
service hours
The IPC Student
Board meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:30
pm (immediately following the regular IPC meeting).
NOTE: IPC Student Board members are encouraged to
attend the regular IPC meeting from 3:00 to 4:30 if
their school schedule permits.
