IPC Mission Statement

IPC General Meetings

The IPC General Meetings are attended by representatives from over 60 civic, business, school, faith, parent, youth and community based agencies who work together to provide support to children, youth and families in Irvine.  The IPC General Meetings are hosted on the third Thursday of the month at Irvine City Hall from 3:00 to 4:30 pm and are open to the public. IPC Executive Advisory Board

The IPC Executive Advisory Board is made up of key community leaders who work together to identify community needs and resources to support children, youth and families in Irvine.


IPC Coordinating Committee

The IPC Coordinating Committee is comprised of community partners who work together to develop and implement IPC sponsored programs, activities and events including the Irvine Family Fun Fair, the OSP Awards, and Irvine's Red Ribbon Celebration.


IPC Student Board

The IPC Student Board is comprised of student representatives who work together to coordinate school and community based prevention efforts.  The City of Irvine's High School Youth Action Team coordinate community forums as well as school based prevention campaigns.  The IPC Student Board coordinates the Youth Service Awards and partners with the HSYAT and Youth Creating Change to develop and implement social norms campaigns in Irvine.

The Irvine Prevention Coalition is funded by a Coalition Strengthening Grant, the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative and by the City of Irvine.
