In 2006/2007, the
coalition awarded grants to the following partners:
Boys & Girls
Club of Irvine
Support for the
TORCH CLUB, a leadership program geared for boys & girls 6th - 8th grade
who will plan and implement community service projects and volunteer
service to the Boys & Girls Club.

Host the STAAR (Student Athletes At Risk)
Program for targeted population in an Irvine HS.

City of Irvine (MS Youth Action Team)
Coordinate tobacco related assemblies at
Irvine's middle schools during Red Ribbon Week.

City of Irvine (HS Youth Action Team)
Coordinate alcohol prevention
activities on each high school campus.

Services)
Coordinate and host
workshops that prepare young people, ages 14-25, for employment.

Host a Decision-Making Group for high
school students.

Host two seven-week nutrition and exercise
sessions to be presented to homeless youth population.

Human Options
Provide an interactive
drug/alcohol/violence awareness program. Emphasis is on dating violence
and will service high school students in Irvine.

Board
Coordinate the IPC Student Service Awards
and Video. Also, coordinate and host youth developed programs,
activities and events.
